To produce medium and large sized tube and pipe, the requirements of quality of cutting surface and accuracy of joint surface are highly critical. The milling type orbital cold saw cut off machine comes to the role to meet the manufacturer highest requirements.

Two tungsten carbide-tipped (TCT) blades are applied to ensure a clean cutting end without the need for any end facing. The orbital trajectory is obtained by combining two independent axes for each blade, like in CNC milling machine, which is simple and reliable. The cutting process of milling type orbital flying cutoff machine can be either in rectangular coordinate where the profiling curve generated in X and Y movement, or in polar coordinate where the orbital curve generated in ϕ and r dimensions. The machine is totally numerically controlled and user friendly. Once programmed, they can operate without requiring constant presence of operator at the console.

The movement of the traveling carriage is controlled by a rack and pinion accelerator that provides the necessary thrust force to perform the cutting cycle in accordance with the established performance parameters.
